Mundulla Show & Moot Yang Gunya Stockmans Challenge is an annual event held in the small township located in the Upper South East of South Australia. What started as a small one day event in 1910 has grown to a 3 day show.<\/p>\n

Friday 6th March we start off with our Show Jumping program, and then when the sun is starting to set we have Barrel Races in the Arena. Saturday 7th March is main Show Day with extra events added each year to our usual program. Sunday 8th March Horse Events & Yard Dogs<\/p>\n

FRIDAY<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Friday<\/strong> our Show Weekend begins with showjumping casual classes, starting at 9 am and
continuing throughout the day. When the sun is starting to set the very popular Barrel
Racing is back with great numbers of competitors expected. Bar, BBQ & Baked Spuds
available and The Austins will keep entertained into the night.<\/p>\n

SATURDAY<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Saturday 7th March is the official Show Day<\/strong> with plenty to see and do.\u00a0Show goers will
find\u00a0all the usual events and competitions you would expect to see at a country show with
extra events added each year. This year sees demonstrations from Sprout Cooking School
featuring Masterchef Callum Hann, NBB 4WD Show & Shine Cutie Pie Pony Rides & Pie
Eating Competition. Full program will be finalised closer to show, follow us on Facebook to
see all details.<\/p>\n

In the Mundulla Hall, just a short walk away, is a great indoor show with hosts of prizes to be
won (click\u00a0Hall Competitions<\/a> to view). Cookery, needle crafts, art and fruit, veg and flower
competitions are well supported, plus the local school display is always a winner.
There is\u00a0lots of free entertainment on offer all day\u00a0for the children in the children\u2019s
entertainment marquee. Also free for kids is\u00a0the Bunyip Trail and the\u00a0sandpit dig.<\/p>\n

The Farmers Challenge is always a great spectator event with great prize money on offer
this year \u2013 get your teams of four organised to see if you can get bragging rights over your
friends or team mates. This year it will be held at an earlier time of 2pm.<\/p>\n

The Food Court, luncheon room in the Sport & Rec and BBQ provide lots of options for food.<\/p>\n

Horse events are a major feature of the Mundulla Show extending over the whole weekend.

SATURDAY NIGHT<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

After a busy day at the show join the committee at the Bush Bar for a quiet drink, music & food.<\/p>\n

SUNDAY<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Sunday Program<\/strong> starts with the Blessing of the Horse at 7:45am on the main oval,
followed by an entire day of Show Jumping, Moot Yang Gunya Stockman\u2019s Challenge,
Horses in Action & Yard Dogs.<\/p>\n
